[Triumphs] Long time no see

Michael,
Let me understand. Your issue now is oil spilling out of your engine and
transmission on to your exhaust pipes. The upper engine sounds like a valve
cover gasket. On the transmission, are you sure you have the fill plug in?
If it is something else on the transmission (like the upper cover) perhaps
you do not have to remove the transmission. You might be able to remove the
tunnel cover and fix something like that in situ.

But the real problem is the hemorrhaging on the garage floor. While the
body was off and the frame was stripped, repaired, painted and reinstalled,
I replaced every seal in the transmission, the pan gasket, and the rocker
cover seals. Now with less than fifty miles I have a major oil leak from
the back top of the engine and the transmission is pumping gear lube onto
the exhaust fast enough to cause a fire if I drive it any more.
