[Triumphs] Carb problem?

Sounds like the throttle plates aren't centered.  You will have to remove the 
carbs (start with the front one) and loosen the screws that secure the 
throttle plate and then wiggle things around letting the throttle return spring 
close the throttle.  The throttle plate will tend to find the center itself.  Look 
for a uniform and minimum gap around the plate.  Tighten the screws and try 
running the engine again.

If that doesn't fix it start looking for vacuum leaks.
