March 31-April 1, 2007

Unfortunately, due to some issues that have mounted up, I am going to have
to change the date for this year's Missouri Endurance Rally and Missouri
Mini-Endurance Trial. The new date is Saturday, March 31 - Sunday, April 1.
The host hotel has been moved back to the Red Roof Inn in Westport.
Hopefully this will avoid the issues that were taking place as well as get
us some more favorable weather.

Attached are the updated registration and info forms. Please get these into
your local newsletters and spread the word. I know this is last minute, but
it cannot be helped.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

12th Annual Missouri Endurance Rally

And 5th Missouri Mini-Endurance Test

March 31 - April 1, 2007

Standard class: British vehicles made before 1981

Modern class: British vehicles made from 1981-1995 or fitted with EFI/engine
management systems.

We will be meeting at the Red Roof Inn Westport (11837 Lackland Rd, St
Louis, Missouri) at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 31st. Teams will have
until 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 1st to reach all the locations that are given
at the meeting, answer the required questions, and make it back to the
parking lot of the Red Roof Inn Westport. The team covering the least number
of miles wins. Any team that arrives after 9 a.m. is disqualified. We
will then have an awards ceremony at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Before the teams leave on Saturday morning, they will drive a set course to
calculate any mileage offset that they may have with their odometers. The
offset will be determined mathematically. Also before leaving, teams will
be required to sign an event waiver then seal their driver's license in an
envelope. Any team that gets stopped and has to break the seal on the
envelope is disqualified. Teams must drive in a safe manner and obey all
Missouri traffic laws.

Those competing in the 5th Annual Missouri Mini-Endurance Test will also
meet at Hooters and participate in the mileage check run. After the check
run, teams will be given a list of locations and will have until midnight
that night to make it back to the start. Teams arriving after midnight will
be disqualified. The awards ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.

New Class:

For the first time, British vehicles made from 1981-1995 will be allowed to
enter in their own class. Also included in the new class will be
"modernized" British vehicles that have been fitted with electronic fuel
injection and engine management systems.

If you wish to stay the night before and/or after the rally, the recommended
hotel is the Red Roof Inn Westport, which is located behind the Hooters at
11837 Lackland Rd. Their number is (314) 991-4900.

If you have questions or need a registration application, please contact
Robert Rushing at <mailto:mgslime at swbell.net> mgslime at swbell.net or write
to him at 5444 Sutherland Ave, St Louis MO 63109. You can also leave a
message on the MG Hotline at (314) 995-TOMG.
