[SLTOA Triumphs] RE: Thanks to the Triumph Club

I hate to change the subject when someone has obviously been injured, but I need some assistance.
 
I am ready to begin some restoration work on my '68 TR250. I am not very mechanical and need a shop or individual I can trust who is able to look at the car and give me a breakdown of its needs. The car is running fine, but I have only been starting it about once a month. I need someone to look at frame, steering, electrical, brakes, etc. The interior and cosmetics will be down the road. I need to get it road worthy for safety inspection. Looking to start on repairs immediately.
 
Also, when and where are the meetings held? I went to one last year but lost touch.

Actually, I did talk to Bob on Monday, though he is a little sore, he seems to be coming along.
 
I might add he has no memory of what transpired on Saturday or Sunday, does not remember talking to me at McDonalds Sunday morning or how he got into the car for the drive Sunday.

Just wanted to thank the Triumph Club for the very nice flowers sent to myself and Bob Bentzinger.  We are the ones who had the misfortune of dampening the great time everyone was having on the Polar Bear run.  Wanted to let you know that both Bob and myself are doing well recuperating from our accident.  
 
We appreciate your thoughts and good wishes.  The moral of the story is make sure the freeze plug doesn't fall out of your engine dumping antifreeze all over the road and rear tires.
