A quick check on snopes.com reveals that this story is an urban legend.  The
myth is that a person found them in a barn that he purchased.  The truth is
just as interesting.  The barn and cars belong to a person who was a car
dealer in the 70's and 80's.  He filled the barn to capacity, then closed it
up for many years.  He recently hired a photographer to document the 180
cars he had in his barn.
